Sesame Shul: Ages 2-3

Sesame Shul is a once-monthly class for children ages 2–3 and a parent or caregiver. The program helps our youngest learners feel at home in Jewish life while building community among families. Each session includes:

  • A story and hands-on craft or activity connected to a Jewish value or holiday
  • Exposure to Jewish songs and simple prayers
  • Time to explore and grow comfortable in our learning spaces and sanctuary
  • Opportunities for connection with other toddlers and their families

Details and Enrollment

  • Now open for 2026–2027 (Monthly on Sundays, 9:15 AM–11:00 AM)
  • Base rate: $350.00 for an entire year of learning and joyful Judaism, with Judaics and Hebrew integrated throughout the morning for all grades. Save $100 by registering before July 15.
  • Scholarships available—no one is turned away for financial reasons; contact Rabbi Schwartz at rabbi@tbshsv.org.
  • Kulanu welcomes every child—members and non-members alike—and children of those on a conversion journey.

Leadership

  • Rabbi Schwartz: As Head of Kulanu, he will oversee curriculum design, family education, programming, teacher development, and spiritual guidance.
  • Volunteer Team: Trained lay leaders who will support the program’s administrative and logistical needs, volunteer learning guides who will inspire our students in and outside the classroom, and Kulanu Committee members who will help set policies and procedures in our Kulanu Learning programs, receive and evaluate input from parents/guardians, staff, and students, and support the planning and implementation of larger programs.
