Find your people. Share your passions.
At Temple B’nai Sholom, community is built not only in the sanctuary but in the connections we form with one another. Whether you’re drawn to music, service, learning, or friendship, our groups and programs offer meaningful ways to get involved.
There’s a place for everyone here. Come discover where you belong.

Brotherhood
A place to laugh, learn, and lend a hand. Our Brotherhood gathers men and those who identify with men’s experiences (age 16+) for friendship, fun, and service—from poker games to Sukkah-building and attending a Trash Pandas Baseball game. Come add your voice and energy.
Sisterhood
Rooted in care and connection, Sisterhood brings together all who find meaning in community with others who identify as women. Whether we’re checking in on a member in need, planning a holiday celebration, or playing MahJong, we nurture Temple life through friendship and action.

Choir & Music
Love to sing or play an instrument? Our open-door choir and music circle lift spirits at our worship services. No audition—just a willingness to blend your voice (or instrument) with others and shape the soundscape of our prayer. Come rehearse, experiment, and make worship soar.
Affinity Groups—Find Your People
Community also grows around shared passions. Our Gaming Group meets regularly for board games, strategy nights, and plenty of laughter. Have another interest—gardening, hiking, knitting, film? Let us know, and we’ll help you spread the word. When you gather with fellow Temple members to do what you love, you strengthen the fabric of TBS for everyone.
Not seeing your niche? Email our Office Administrator, Abby Murphree, at bnaisholom.al@gmail.com to start a group. Share your passion—others are waiting to join you.
